About Ilford qualified complementary therapist Elaine Otrofanowei

I’m Elaine Otrofanowei, but just call me Elaine. I’ve practised as Podiatrist for 24 years and more recently as a Complementary Therapist in Ilford, Essex.

I’ve realised for many years that conventional medicine does not have all the answers and that an integrated/holistic approach seems to get better long term results. I experienced this myself when my body decided it wanted to enter the menopausal stage of my life early and using a combination of reflexology and nutrition worked wonders for me.

Currently studying a Degree in Acupuncture, I decided to embark on a pathway of learning more about complementary therapies and became a qualified practitioner in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Reiki and more recently Holistic stress management.

I specialise in maternity and fertility reflexology and the treatment of female hormone imbalances, such as Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), Endometriosis, Fibroids, infertility and Menopause. I also provide reflexology for back pain and general reflexology.

For the last 13 years I have provided a Podiatry and more recently and complementary therapy service for Ford Motor Company at their Dagenham plant and I also practice from my treatment room in Ilford Essex.
